The working water wheel still turns on the Little Pigeon River, and the mill still grinds the cornmeal and flour sold a few steps away. Around it sit the Old Mill General Store, Pigeon River Pottery, a candy kitchen, a creamery and Sassafras boutique. It is the one corner of Pigeon Forge that predates the Parkway by more than a century.
