Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum

The garden occupies 44 acres of the old Howell Nurseries land on Wimpole Avenue, and it is free and open to the public every day from dawn to dusk. Walking trails wind past display gardens, historic horticulture and more than two miles of distinctive dry-stacked stone walls. A visitors center and gift shop are open daily, and the organization runs education programs and community events on member and donor support.
